An industry-led initiative to recognise excellence in wedding businesses across the UK
The majority of the UK wedding industry is made up of reputable, hardworking businesses, but since 2020 there’s been a surge of less reputable entrants chasing quick wins. Misleading prices, broken promises and rogue practices have not only hurt couples financially and emotionally, they’ve dragged down the credibility of the whole sector.
The UK Wedding Association exists to change that. We will educate and elevate ambitious businesses, equipping them with the knowledge and support to thrive, while giving couples the clarity they need to make confident choices. In doing so, we will make it impossible for poor performers to hide, and ensure that the businesses doing things right stand out and succeed.
Advisory Board
Our Advisory Board is made up of highly respected and influential professionals from across the wedding industry who share their expertise to guide the Association’s future. They help shape our direction, make sure we reflect the needs and ambitions of the entire sector, and keep us focused on raising standards. Their collective knowledge ensures members are part of a connected, forward-thinking community.
